A short note of appreciation and gratitude from the Lozier’s
Box “R” Ranch Family
Hello
Friends;
After
115 years of welcoming guests into our home and onto the Box
“R” Ranch, the Lozier family has made the decision to close
the Box “R” Ranch for the 2013 guest season.
First
and foremost, we would like the thank all the wonderful
people who have helped us sustain this “Little Peace Of
Heaven” and by their patronage, allowed us to keep our doors
open steadily since 1898.
Each
and every one of you has played an integral part in the
survival of the ranch. Nearly 80 people met their spouses
here at the Box “R” Ranch. Since 1900 over 400 people have
spent several years to several weeks here helping us
accomplish our numerous tasks. Since 1972, nearly 20 people
have chosen Memorial Hill and its awesome views, as a place
for some of their eternal dreams. The list goes on and on
and on?
If we
had one penny for every horseshoe print made in the Box “R”
dirt, we might be wealthy, but not as rich as we are in all
the friends, friendships and wonderful memories made and
shared here with you.
Rest
assured that everyone is healthy. None of us are saying
good-bye, as we never did at the Box “R” with the departure
of our numerous friends. It is so rewarding to look back on
the past, even through tragedies, fires, financial struggles
and life’s heartaches; and the happiness shared and
unforgettable memories abound beyond all.
We will
keep our website up throughout the year and try to publish
news as it happens.
