The Box R Ranch (established in 1900), is a very unique guest ranch to the industry because of the authenticity of our cattle work and the riding liberties we offer to our mostly adult ranch guests.

Snuggled right up against the beautiful Wind River Mountains, we offer riding opportunities, adventures and experiences that will make memories to last a lifetime! We are a true working guest ranch hosting only 20 guests per week, maintaining a more personal experience for each guest. Our log cabins provide a cozy stay for groups, couples, or singles; and our meals have been described as "delightful" and "addictive". With more than 70 head of wonderful ranch horses, we always find just the right horse for you so that you can have the vacation you've always dreamed of.

We might be described as a small personalized ranch that can easily become your home away from home. A place you can revisit and recall fondly for many years to come.
