These mid-summer weeks have been specially designed to fit groups, families and our first time visitors by offering the widest possible variety of activities, including campfire cookouts, beach picnics, basic horsemanship classes, scenic rides and special high mountain excursions.

Sunday - Upon your arrival in the pristine and hidden valley of the "Lozier’s Box "R" Ranch", we will show you to your accommodations and invite you to roam about the barns, corrals and get a feel for the general operations of the Ranch. After sumptuous dinner, we will discuss the exciting agenda for the week and all the special attractions and activities awaiting you during your stay.

Tuesday to Friday -We do assist and require all riders be comfortable with tack and mount, that they are capable of mounting and dismounting, handling a trot and canter safely, and are at ease in open space riding before leaving the ranch.

Afternoon rides may take us to the 8800’ foot elevation the Willow Lake Rim overlook, (a 7 mile long Glacial formed huge Mountain Lake) encircling the east and south sides of the ranch. Wednesday morning will high light an awesome "Sunrise Breakfast Ride" for a hearty meal with hotcakes, bacon, eggs and "Cowboy Coffee" in a secluded Aspen grove or sunlit mountain top. All day rides will offer trips deep into the Bridger Wilderness Area, enjoy 360 degree vistas of 10-14,000 foot high granite peaks which skyline as many as five of Wyoming’s mountain ranges. We offer basic horsemanship and riding clinics, supervised fast rides, horseback riding on your own (with approval) and weekly ranch cattle working chores. Thursday - today only, we offer an Optional and Exceptional all day mountain top ride to famous White Rock Mtn. (11,220’ elevation) - 3500’ above the Green River Lakes. Ocean bed sea shell fossils and Indian arrowheads dot the outcroppings which cuddle wildflowers and make lofty haven for Bighorn sheep. This above timberline trip is exclaimed by every participating guest as "absolutely the most beautiful place they ever visited on horseback" . It requires hauling our horses, a minimum of 5 guests and costs $75 additional.

Late afternoons are reserved for a little rest and relaxation, a short hike, a game of horseshoes or some roping practice. Top this off with a generous slab of juicy succulent prime rib or charcoal braised California seasoned Beef Tri-Tips roast, complimented with a beautiful salad bar, scrumptious deserts and homemade breads and pastries.

As evening approaches, we will gather up the horses for an early evening ride to our beautiful private sandy beaches on Willow Lake. Here we can savor the magnificent Wyoming sunset while having a romantic picnic over the orange hue of campfire ambers, toast marshmallows and share good stories and friendships made in the tranquility of Wyoming’s wide open spaces. The grand finale’ is our returning to the ranch by an enchanting dusk or starlight draped horseback ride underneath Wyoming’s crystal clear and star-studded skies
.

Hello Friends at the Box "R";
Our trip was exactly what we needed. Lots of freedom to ride and enjoy the awesome country. I was so impressed with the sunrise breakfast cookout on the Willow Lake Rim, looking out over an area as big as New Jersey. The "Optional Scenic Ride" to White Rock Mountain was the most beautiful place we have ever been on horseback. The Beach picnic and the opportunity to ride back to the ranch in the dark was an experience of a lifetime.

Thanks to everyone!
